Happy October. Thank you for checking in! I am gearing up for the Monadnock Art Tour, October 10-12, 2026 and wanted to share a few things here before I open up the studio.
65 art studios will open their doors to visitors in the beautiful Monadnock Region of Southwest New Hampshire beginning October 10, 2026. Studios are open from 10 am – 5pm. Tour maps are available online (and I’ve got an image of the map below) and may also be picked up in a number of shops, restaurants, and public spaces in the Monadnock Region.

I am stop number 20 on the tour. The looms are dressed with some colorful and intricate designs; you can watch me turn yarn into cloth and ask questions about my process, equipment, and tools.
There will be a few new things for purchase during the tour, including new handwoven cowls, project bags for knitters/crocheters, and even some colorful, artsy magnets for your fridge or office space!

In conjunction with the art tour there is an exhibit at The Monadnock Center in Peterborough, New Hampshire. “Mermaid Tails” has been completed and on display. Here is a teaser of the piece in process on my Baby Wolf loom:

I hope to see you during the Monadnock Art Tour this weekend. The weather looks very promising and our autumn color this year is just spectacular.
Happy weaving!
Kate K.
