Greetings, friends. After a mild altercation with a snowblower last week, in which our Monadnock Region-worthy Cub Cadet got the upper hand, I am back at the loom. (Nothing serious, just a strained shoulder. I wasn’t one of those people who stuck their hands inside in a running snowblower in an attempt to remove snow from the auger; they got cameos on the local news. A dubious honor). Here is the first of several “Nine Patch Kitchen Towels” that I’ve finished:

These are listed in my Etsy shop AND six of them are en route to Littleton Fine Craft Gallery, where Beth, the shop owner, has kindly carried my work for several years now. It is a great gallery, one of several of the League of NH Craftsmen affiliated shops. If you’re up in Littleton, do stop in!
Next on the loom will be more nine patch kitchen towels in unbleached cotton and sage green. I’ve woven these before and people seem to like them:

Our boys will be home soon from their respective universities and this is always a special time for my husband and me. So in addition to weaving towels, I had better start filling my cookie tins.
Be well,
Kate K.
Mmm, cookies…
